Foresters House 

The former Forestry Managers House was substantialy refurbished and re-modelled between 1997/99. It was further improved in 2004 after a New Years Night temperature of -18 froze pipework which caused substantial damage.

The House and Lodge sit in about half an acre and are surrounded by a deer fence, so it is quite secure for any pets or young children.

Inside The House

Open plan living room and kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 en-suite), further study which could be used as a bedroom. In addition to the en-suite shower room there is a family bathroom with shower fitted over the bath, a further toilet/shower room is situated on the ground floor. There is also a well equipped utility room (washer/dryer).

The House has oil fired central heating, with a multi-fuel stove in the living room and is fitted throughout with triple glazing.

Large flat screen FreeSat TV with Blue Ray, DVD and VCR players along with Mini Sound Sytem with ipod docking. A fixed line telephone and Internet access (coming early 2013)

 Foresters Lodge was the Forestry Managers office, this has been extended and converted to a cosy and comfortable chalet

The Lodge is all electric has extensive insulation and triple glazed doors and windows. The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with wardrobe storage. 1 further twin bedroom with full size bunk beds and wardrobe storage. Toilet with electric shower. Spacious open plan lounge kitchen with sofa bed, dinning table and chairs. Utility room with washer/dryer, dishwasher and freezer.

Again, all bedding and towels are supplied.
